Privacy Policy
Effective September 25, 2026
Overview
TripNudge helps travelers understand when flights, trains, and attractions may become available to book. This Privacy Policy explains what information TripNudge collects, why it is collected, and how it is used.
Information we collect
TripNudge may collect information you provide directly, including your email address when you save a reminder, submit feedback, request a provider, or contact us.
Saved nudges may also include the provider, booking category, origin, destination, travel date, expected booking date, and reminder status.
TripNudge may collect basic usage information such as searches performed, pages viewed, reminder actions, feedback submissions, provider requests, device type, browser, and general geographic information.
TripNudge may also record interactions with affiliate links, including when an affiliate option is displayed or clicked. This information may include the provider, affiliate partner, link placement, source of the click, and the time of the interaction.
How we use information
We use information to operate TripNudge, deliver saved reminders, improve booking-window accuracy, understand how the product is used, investigate reported errors, prioritize provider coverage, and improve the service.
We may also use affiliate-link interaction data to understand whether third-party booking options are useful, measure referral activity, and operate TripNudge's affiliate partnerships.
We do not sell your personal information.
Affiliate links and referral tracking
Some links on TripNudge may be affiliate links. If you click one of these links, TripNudge may record the click before redirecting you to the third-party website.
TripNudge's affiliate click tracking may record information such as the applicable provider, affiliate partner, link placement, referral source, and timestamp.
TripNudge does not include your saved-reminder email address in the affiliate link used to redirect you to the third-party website.
After you leave TripNudge, the third-party website or affiliate partner may collect information about your visit or use cookies or similar technologies according to its own privacy policy and practices.
Service providers
TripNudge uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the website and store information. These may include services such as Vercel for website hosting and analytics, Supabase for database services, and an email delivery provider for reminder messages.
These providers may process information on TripNudge's behalf according to their own privacy and security terms.
Analytics
TripNudge uses analytics to understand website usage, including page visits and product interactions such as searches, saved reminders, feedback submissions, provider requests, affiliate-link impressions, and affiliate-link clicks.
Analytics are used to improve the product, understand which features and providers are most useful, and measure how users interact with optional third-party booking links.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate TripNudge, provide reminders, analyze product usage, resolve issues, and maintain service records.
Reminder information may be retained after a reminder is completed or cancelled for operational, troubleshooting, and analytics purposes.
Usage and affiliate interaction records may also be retained for analytics, troubleshooting, and referral reporting purposes.
Your choices
You can remove active reminders through the My Nudges page where available.
You may also contact TripNudge to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your email address, subject to reasonable identity verification and legal or operational retention requirements.
Third-party websites
TripNudge links to airlines, train operators, attractions, ticket marketplaces, tour operators, and other third-party websites. Some of these links may be affiliate links.
Once you visit a third-party website, its collection and use of information is governed by its own privacy policy and practices, not this Privacy Policy.
Children
TripNudge is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TripNudge evolves. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
